Amanda Liscouski is a servant leader and quality advocate motivated to establish shared understanding. Her diverse career experience includes arts outreach and management, creative copy and technical writing, software development lifecycles, and product management. She especially loves to partner with arts, nonprofits, and tech organizations for their facilitation needs.
Amanda has been honing her craft as a visual facilitator since 2020, practicing both virtual and in-person modes of facilitation. Her company, Set Stage Inc, provides tech hosting and facilitation assistance to 'set the stage' for supported transformations and creative collaborations. She is available for in-person events across the continental U.S. or virtual events anywhere around the globe.
Born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area, she transplanted to Charlottesville, Virginia in 2006. Amanda is a longtime member of McGuffey Art Center, one of the oldest artist cooperatives in the country, and has served on the Executive Council at McGuffey 2021-2023. In 2021, she founded Cumulus Dance, a nonprofit organization providing space and community for contemporary dancers in the greater Charlottesville area.
Amanda currently serves as Deputy Director of the Charlottesville Business Innovation Council (CBIC), a multimodal community resource that celebrates, educates, and advocates for Charlottesville’s technology innovators.
